a short story starring addie [Dec. 17th, 2007|07:03 pm]
[Tags|]

...by Ariel Gross

Once upon a time there was a girl named Addie. She was driving her little car through a little wooded area in a little state in the US. She was listening to music, singing along, and bobbing her head in time. She was wearing a pink scarf, a light blue puffy jacket, and had her blonde hair made into pigtails. She was absolutely adorable. If there had been anybody nearby, and they had laid their eyes upon her, they would have been unable to suppress their own smiles. But nobody was nearby.

The road turned to dirt. Addie’s eyebrows crinkled in. She didn’t remember there being a dirt road here. “Must be construction,” she rationalized out loud. But why would there be construction on a little shortcut through the woods? She kept driving. It was starting to get dark out, and she didn’t want to spend the night in another hotel. She wanted to be home, cuddled in her puffy little covers on her comfy little bed. So she kept driving, and the night fell above her, and the road continued to be dirt.

Suddenly there was a crash of thunder, and rain started pouring all around her. Addie turned her music down a little bit so that she could focus on driving. The rain came harder and harder, until Addie was forced to drive at a crawl. She turned on her high beams and pushed onward into the rain, but eventually the rain was coming down so hard that she couldn’t see anything through her windshield. Addie’s little car rolled to a stop on the side of what she imagined was a dirt road in a little wooded shortcut.

As she began to roll down her windows, water began to blast into the car. She quickly rolled it back up. She was starting to panic. The water was shooting in as if she was underwater. Had she crashed into a lake and not realized it? Was this some kind of flood? Addie’s mind raced, when suddenly the car lurched forward without her even pressing on the gas pedal. She slammed her foot onto the brake pedal, but the car continued forward. She could feel the momentum, gravity pushing her gently into her seat as the car steadily accelerated. She reached for the steering wheel and pulled to the right, but it would not move.

Then, the rain cleared, and Addie looked through her windshield and saw nothing but gentle hues of blue and black. She decided to try the windows again, but water began blasting through the crack as soon as the window had barely been moved. She quickly rolled it back up. She couldn’t tell now if she was moving at all. Maybe she was dropping. She felt weightless.

Then she blinked, and there was no car. Just like that, nothing, no car, just Addie, floating in space, infinite blackness. Was this the abyss? Addie blinked as she hung there in space, suspended, feet touching nothing but without the sensation of falling. Then in the distance, a speck of light moving towards her from so far away that she doubted that she even saw it. But it was there, and it was getting bigger. Was it approaching?

It was. Addie squinted and looked out into the dark at the speck of light headed towards her. It was shaped like a person, she thought. It was moving very slowly. As it came closer, it became clear that it was a person. She wanted to call out to it, but she didn’t. There was no sound, absolute silence, and she noticed the silence at this moment. She closed her eyes, listened hard, heard nothing.

When she opened her eyes again, she saw a face. It was smiling at her. She no longer had any concept of distance, and the face was at the same time right in front of her eyes and yet very far away. Then she felt like she was spinning, but the face was still in front of her. Was the face spinning her around? She closed her eyes, but she could still see the face. She recognized it. It was smiling at her, and she smiled back with her heart. She felt arms fold around her in a big hug, still spinning in space. She felt a cheek against hers, then lips kissing her cheek. She smiled and spun, and suddenly there was sound again.

The rustling of wind through the trees and voices singing and waterfalls and birds chirping… She was looking into his eyes, still spinning, all she could see was the eyes, and the feeling of kisses on her lips and the sound of rain and feeling of warmth and love embracing her. She was being held tight against him, she could feel fingers running through her hair, and she felt safe.

Then she woke up, cuddled up in her puffy covers on her cozy little bed, and lying on the pillow in front of her was the sleeping face of the love of her life, and she remembered the face in her dream. It was his face, and his eyes parted slightly to see her looking at him. He smiled, pulled his hand up to her cheek, leaned forward and kissed her in a sleepy daze. She kissed him back and drifted back to sleep.

The end.

Al Gore and the prize o' peace [Oct. 13th, 2007|10:23 am]
Well, Al Gore just won the Nobel Peace Prize, and look at our president. Show of hands, who thinks that GeOGRE W. Bush is going to win a Nobel Peace Prize in his lifetime? Anyone? No? Ok. You know, Al Gore could have been our president. But now, things are different. We lost that chance. Instead we're locked into an expensive war overseas that most Americans can't even fathom.

Meanwhile day to day life in America gets a little more sour every day. Pissing people off across the planet. Paying taxes that pay for bullets and bombs that are shot at people. Pretty amazing, really. The sky is always just a little browner, the stars a little more difficult to see, the water a little bit less drinkable, every day. I can't help but wonder if it would have been different if Al Gore had been elected. Of course it would have been different.

It's days like these that I am especially happy that I have Addie in my life. Love will save us all.

Iran -- an open letter to Senator Jon Kyl [Oct. 12th, 2007|10:38 pm]
[Tags|, ]

Dear Senator Kyl,

I am no longer a constituent of yours. I have moved from the beautiful xxxxxx of xxxxxxx to the chilly, green land of xxxxxxxxx, xx. However, I feel compelled to write to you even though I have moved. You have always responded to my e-mails. Although we may disagree on certain matters, I appreciate your communication greatly.

I am pleading with you, Senator Kyl. Please stop putting pressure on Iran. You must know that the vast majority of the Iranian people desire good relations with the United States and the West in general. You must know that the median age of Iranians is just under 26 years old. The latter facts are from the CIA World Factbook.

Please, I am making a plea to all that is good and right in this world, a plea to your heart, to find within you the love that you have for all of mankind, even those which are perceived as being enemies. At the very least, consider the age old adage that you keep your friends close, and you keep your enemies closer. Although I would like to make the distinction that I do not consider the Iranians to be an enemy.

You and I have common enemies. Our enemies are the enemies of love, freedom, and truth. Our enemies are not Iran. I know of Iran's past. I am aware that they are an Islamic republic. I do not condone these things, but I also do not think that economic sanctions are going to provide any sort of benefit whatsoever. These are good people, people just like you and I. They too are frustrated with their leadership, especially their president. Certainly this sounds familiar to you?

All that I ask is that you are patient. That you wait, and observe the stillness that so many wise men have described. We have years until Iran would be a threat. We are the strongest, most informed people on the planet. America can afford to be wise and observe the events unfolding before us so that we can make the wisest decision.

Might I remind you of the epic battle between David and Goliath? The United States is Goliath. Please do not let us fall to David.

The lives of many people across this world are in your hands. They really are, Senator Kyl.

Please, always oppose war. Oppose war with Iran. Oppose this war in Iraq. Oppose the very concept of sending men into battle against a foe that they do not understand, against a foe that could be their own brother sharing the same views.

Sincerely,
Ariel Gross

Violence [Jul. 19th, 2007|10:44 am]
I can't believe that we still have violence in this world. What a rip off. Everywhere I turn there is violence. It's like we can't have the daily news without it. I'm so sick of the violence and the war. Blech!

i travel closer to the light
and I end up at the coffee shop
the cup of tea i buy my wife
resembles galaxies

i wonder if i'm real at all
or if i'm floating in the water
the mind is huge and yet i'm small
so i reach out to her

her face is glowing in the light
and she doesn't know i'm noticing
the subtle sound now in her voice
resembles galaxies

the space between the world and i
grows past the infinite
if i were smaller than i am
it'd be even further

Animal Abuse and Human Abuse: Partners in Crime [May. 31st, 2007|12:18 am]
[Current Location |home]

Animal Abuse and Human Abuse: Partners in Crime

Cruel acts toward animals have long been recognized as indicators of a dangerous psychopathy that often claims more than animal victims. “Murderers ... very often start out by killing and torturing animals as kids,” according to Robert K. Ressler, who developed profiles of serial killers for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).(1) Studies have now convinced sociologists, lawmakers, law enforcement officials, and the courts that acts of cruelty to animals deserve our attention. They can be the first sign of a violent pathology that includes human victims.

Cruelty to Animals: The First of Many Crimes?
Acts of cruelty to animals are not mere indications of a minor personality flaw in the abuser; they are symptomatic of a deep mental disturbance. Research in psychology and criminology shows that people who commit acts of cruelty to animals don’t stop there—many of them move on to their fellow humans.

Studies have shown that violent and aggressive criminals are more likely to have abused animals as children than criminals considered non-aggressive.(2) A survey of psychiatric patients who had repeatedly tortured dogs and cats found that all of them had high levels of aggression toward people as well.(3) According to a New South Wales newspaper, a police study in Australia revealed that “100 percent of sexual homicide offenders examined had a history of animal cruelty.”(4) To researchers, a fascination with cruelty to animals is a red flag in the lives of serial killers and rapists; according to the FBI’s Ressler, “These are the kids who never learned it’s wrong to poke out a puppy’s eyes.”(5)

Examples That Make the Headlines: Notorious Killers
History is replete with serial killers whose violent tendencies were first directed at animals. Albert DeSalvo, the “Boston Strangler,” who killed 13 women, trapped dogs and cats and shot arrows at them through boxes in his youth.(6) Serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer had impaled frogs, cats, and dogs’ heads on sticks.(7) Dennis Rader, the so-called “BTK” killer, who terrorized people in Kansas, wrote in a chronological account of his childhood that he hanged a dog and a cat.(8) During the trial of convicted sniper Lee Boyd Malvo, a psychology professor testified that the teenager, who killed 10 people with a rifle, had “pelted—and probably killed—numerous cats with marbles from a slingshot when he was about 14.”(9)

The deadly violence that has shattered schools in recent years has, in most cases, begun with cruelty to animals. High-school killers such as 15-year-old Kip Kinkel in Springfield, Oregon, and Luke Woodham, 16, in Pearl, Mississippi, tortured animals before starting their shooting sprees.(10) Columbine High School students Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, who shot and killed 12 classmates before turning their guns on themselves, spoke of mutilating animals to their classmates.(11)

“There is a common theme to all of the shootings of recent years,” says Dr. Harold S. Koplewicz, director of the Child Study Center at New York University. “You have a child who has symptoms of aggression toward his peers, an interest in fire, cruelty to animals, social isolation, and many warning signs that the school has ignored.”(12)

Sadly, many of these criminals’ childhood violence went unexamined—until it was directed at humans.

‘The Link’ Next Door: Cruelty to Animals and Family Violence
Because abusers target the powerless, crimes against animals, spouses, children, and the elderly often go hand in hand. Children who abuse animals may be repeating a lesson learned at home; like their parents, they are reacting to anger or frustration with violence. Their violence is directed at the only individual in the family more vulnerable than themselves: an animal.

Parents who neglect or abuse an animal frequently subject their own children to similar hardships. Indiana residents Jade M. Jonas and Michael R. Smith faced felony charges stemming from authorities’ reported discovery of their two children and three dogs languishing in their filthy home. According to news sources, officials first found a tethered dog deprived of food and water outside the home. Upon entering the couple’s residence, investigators reportedly found a 3-month-old boy lying near piles of feces, trash, and rotten food; a half-clothed toddler; and two additional dogs.(13) In another case, Illinois authorities found 40 parasite-ridden dogs languishing amid 6 inches of feces on property occupied by John Morris. According to news reports, officials responding to neighbors’ concerns found the sick and emaciated dogs confined to filthy animal carriers before confirming that three children—ages 3, 10, and 15—lived in the horrific conditions as well.(14)

Sixty percent of more than 50 New Jersey families being treated for child abuse also had animals in the home who had been abused.(15) In three separate studies, more than half of the battered women surveyed reported that their abuser threatened or injured their animal companions.(16) In one of those studies, one in four women said that she stayed with the batterer because she feared leaving the animal behind.(17)

Stephen Williams was charged with cruelty to animals, child cruelty, and aggravated assault in Georgia after allegedly hacking to death his wife’s puppy with an ax and threatening to decapitate her with the same weapon—all in front of three horrified children.(18) Scott Maust of Pennsylvania was charged with corruption of minors, making terroristic threats, and cruelty to animals after allegedly shooting his family’s dog with a .22-caliber firearm, ordering his four children to clean up the bloody scene, and threatening to kill them if they told anyone.(19)

Stopping the Cycle of Abuse
Schools, parents, communities, and courts that shrug off cruelty to animals as a “minor” crime are ignoring a time bomb. Instead, courts should aggressively penalize animal abusers, examine families for other signs of violence, and order perpetrators to undergo psychological evaluations and counseling. Communities must recognize that abuse to any living individual is unacceptable and endangers everyone.

In March 2006, Maine Governor John Baldacci signed a law—the first of its kind in the United States—that permits judges to include animal companions in court-issued protection orders against domestic abusers. Those who harm animals in violation of a court order can face fines and jail time.(20)

Baltimore police who file domestic violence reports are required to note the presence and condition of animal companions. The Boston Police Department partners with the New England Animal Control/Humane Task Force to detect and respond to domestic violence associated with cruelty investigations. The New Jersey Coalition for Battered Women works with animal control to identify signs of domestic violence.

Additionally, children should be taught to care for and respect animals in their own right. After an extensive study of the links between animal abuse and human abuse, two experts concluded, “The evolution of a more gentle and benign relationship in human society might be enhanced by our promotion of a more positive and nurturing ethic between children and animals.”(21)

What You Can Do
• Urge your local school, law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and judges to take cruelty to animals seriously. Those charged with protecting our communities and animals must send a strong message that violence against any feeling creature—human or nonhuman—is unacceptable.
• Be aware of signs of neglect or abuse in children and animals and immediately report suspected crimes to authorities. Take children seriously if they report that animals are being neglected or mistreated. Some children won’t talk about their own suffering but will talk about an animal’s.
• Don’t ignore even minor acts of cruelty to animals by children. Talk to the child and the child’s parents. If necessary, call a social worker.

[Current Music |kplecraft - rupa]

"Many people have asked me why I am taking this flight. I am doing it for many reasons," he said. "First of all, I believe that life on Earth is at an ever increasing risk of being wiped out by a disaster such as sudden global warming, nuclear war, a genetically-engineered virus, or other dangers. I think the human race has no future if it doesn't go into space. I therefore want to encourage public interest in space." - Stephen Hawking.

Note the part where he says the human race has no future unless it can go into space.

presentation [Apr. 12th, 2007|12:28 pm]
I'm doing my music business presentation tomorrow on Aphex Twin. I'm going to show the Rubber Johnny video to my class. Some of the students will probably be disturbed. One can only hope! If you haven't seen the video yet, go to youtube or google videos and search for Rubber Johnny. It's yet another amazing video by Chris Cunningham for an Aphex Twin track. Here's a really cool quote from Aphex Twin:

"In Seattle, all the public toilets didn't have any doors on them. It was well strange. What's that all about? I had to take a shit, and they're was like twenty people in a row going for a shit, and I was like, "uh." So after about ten minutes, I thought it was quite wicked actually. I was quite into the idea of it."

Things get, well, very scatalogical and eschatological at this point. During the round of press on the album, I Care Because You Do, much was made of Aphex's use of lucid dreaming to compose music. I was confused at the time, cause I wasn't quite sure what was meant by the term "lucid dreaming." Is it actually dreaming or just daydreaming, I ask. "Well, both really. But what I meant was when you're asleep, like making sounds in your head, and trying to work out songs. I used to do it. I don't do it anymore. Like I had a dream on the bus the other day, and I had this tune in my head, and I couldn't remember it when I woke up. It takes a lot of practice to remember it when you're awake." How do you train? "Well, for about a year. The training is to remember it basically. Because most of the time, I have a dream and know that I've dreamt up a wicked tune, or sound, or idea, and when I wake up all I can remember is the fact that it was really wicked, so that's really irritating." Most people can't control their dreams, I tell him. "Yeah, I can change it. Not all the time. But most of the time -- 75%. That's why I love sleeping. For me, there's different degrees of control. There's ones that are like a movie, where you're in the movie, and you can control yourself, and those are the best ones. And then there's ones where you control everything, and that's really boring, because nothing happens."

It seems to me that breaking things is a very natural human impulse. I find it curious, in this regard, watching children. I say this in reference to one of the rare dreams I could remember controlling. I thought it was really funny to think that, knowing I could do anything, I decided to go a hardware store and smash a bunch of shit up. "Yeah, I've done that. I've smashed everything up, fucked everyone, blown everything up, burnt everything, done everything. I used to dream I was invisible when I was young. Those were one of my favorites. Now, I like eating in dreams -- smelling and eating are what I do now." I'm amazed, cause I've never smelled anything in a dream. "I've just worked out how to do it. It's really weird. It's like sound as well. Because it's not real, but it's like in your imagination. But when I eat food, it can be really vivid. I quite like looking in mirrors as well."

I tell him about when I go to bed drunk without drinking any water. In my dreams, I drink soft drink after soft drink trying to quench my thirst. Says Aphex, "Oh yeah, yeah, I do that as well. It's worse, if you piss yourself as well. I've done that about three times, when I've been drunk. You want to go to the toilet so much, but you're drunk, so you just dream it. And then when you wake up, you go, "Ah fucking hell, I've pissed myself.' You've never done that?" Actually, no. I haven't pissed my bed since I was a kid. Some people say if you piss in dreams, then you'll piss in real life, but I don't think that's true. "Yeah, not always," agrees Aphex. "Like I usually start pissing in a dream, and then realize it's a dream, and wake myself up. But when you're drunk, I don't control anything. I hate drunk dreams. They're fucking shit. They just go in loops, and repeat over and over again. And I'll remember things in the night, and they'll just loop over and over again. So I have to wake myself up, and go back to sleep ...

wtf is wrong with our president [Mar. 28th, 2007|10:08 am]
I am so fucking sick of this president. He's only used his veto power once so far, and that was to veto the stem cell research bill. Now, he's about to use his veto power for the second time, and it's to not put a timetable on the withdrawl of our troops from Iraq. What the hell is wrong with this man? Is he retarded? Is he evil? First he vetos something that could save lives, that could ease the pain for people suffering with heinous diseases. Now, he's going to use his veto to make sure that people continue to die. This guy is a sick piece of crap. I am so sickened by this man that I dry heave when I hear his voice. When I see him, I am filled with rage, not just at him, but at the morons that elected him. What the hell were you thinking, Americans? What kind of retardation does this country have to elect this bloodthirsty simpleton? Don't look at me, either, I didn't vote for this asshole, I voted for John Kerry, and I voted for Al Gore. This planet would be a billion times better off if these two guys had been in office. President Bush is a fucking psychopath! It's like he desires death and pain and suffering for his own people. Did anyone else see his face when he vetoed that stem cell research bill? What a sick piece of shit. I hope he rots. It's nearly impossible for me to find any love or respect for this man. Ugh. He's shameful to this country.

I remember that Addie, Jeff and I were driving down the road in Barcelona that curves around Mount Tibidabo. Addie and I recognized it, and I told her to take a quick detour and take us up Mount Tibidabo. Addie was driving. We all agreed it would be nice. So we make the turn up the road, but the road begins to spiral tightly upwards. For some reason, we are in a big old silver-blue SUV. The spiraling pathway to the top is becoming too narrow and too steep, and we are at a ridiculously high altitude at this point. Addie's trying to make the corner, but the SUV couldn't turn tightly enough, so we drove off the edge. We came crashing down front-first into a house. The SUV is totalled and there is a massive hole that we fell through in the roof of the house, and the house itself is also totally jacked up from our entry. We are all unharmed, but we're unsure as to how we will get home and how we will explain this to the home owner. A bunch of Barcelona teenagers arrive, and they tell us not to worry and that they will handle it. We all get on the couch and are covered in blankets. Then, some people show up that are going to help remove the car and clean up / repair the house. They are also a band / entertainment troupe. We are treated to music and comedy while the house is being repaired. It was a very odd dream.

[Current Music |John Adams - Harmonielehre]

What is the difference between belief and faith? This question reminds me of something that I wrote quite a while back describing the difference between belief and knowledge. People interchange the words belief and faith as if they mean the same thing, but they do not. Merriam-Webster mainly defines belief as a state or habit of mind in which trust or confidence is placed in some person or thing. Merriam-Webster mainly defines faith as allegiance to duty or a person, fidelity to one's promises, and sincerity of intentions. We should really take into consideration the words that we use to communicate our ideas. These are two different words, and they are very strong words, and it would be wise for us to know the meaning of them both. It would be even wiser to critically consider what it is that we believe, and also to consider our faiths. By definition, I would say that having faith is far more important and relevant than having beliefs.

What if all of our gods are aliens? This is one of the reasons that I adore the television show and film called Stargate. There is an alien race that came to Earth and enslaved humans by pretending to be Gods. They could do this because of their advanced technology. They had a device that creates a wormhole in space, allowing them to travel to distant planets that also had the same device. They took humans through these portals and set up civilizations on other planets that were loyal to them. They colonized hundreds of planets with humans and enslaved them all through fear, through falsely claiming that they were gods. They were, in fact, parasitic aliens that enhanced the physiological and psychological  makeup of the humans that they symbiotically attached themselves to.

This scenereo has a special place in my heart. I really do ponder this idea quite a lot, and I have come to the conclusion that it appears more probable that aliens exist than do gods. Most gods are not of Earth, they are of somewhere else, sometimes places that are beyond our perception. Usually our gods exist on a plane outside of time, and it is as if they reach down from a parting in the clouds to manipulate the path of mankind. Sounds like aliens to me.

Numbers are very interesting in that we can explain certain aspects of our universe with them. It can be fun to really think about numbers, and what they represent. I like to think about zero and infinity. Both of these represent numerical values that are very interesting. Zero represents nothing, or the lack of anything. Infinity represents everything, something that goes on forever, so to speak. I find that the more I reflect on these numerical values, the more I realize how similar they are. If you truly have zero, or nothing, then there is infinity of nothing. If you have infinity of something, it may as well be nothing, since there is only that thing.

There is also one. One is adding one thing to nothing. One is, in a way, infinity. If all you have is one thing, then that one thing is infinity, it is all that there is. I'm talking of course about pure one, not one among many, just simply one. It is something, but in a way, it is also nothing, because it is all that is. It is just one thing. Another way to think about it is to imagine an area of empty space, void of anything at all. This could be thought of as zero. Now, add something to that space. That thing that was added now eliminates zero and brings its numerical value to one. But, if there is only the one thing, and there is nothing else with which to relate that one thing, then isn't that basically the same thing as being nothing and being everything? Sometimes I think that one is nothing and everything combined.

Add another things and now there are two things. These two things are still everything, but it becomes harder to imagine them as nothing. Since there are now two things, and only two things, there is an unobserved relativity between them. By unobserved, I mean that there isn't a third thing to observe the relationship between the two things. Perhaps these two things may observe a relationship between each other.

Maybe I am weird in thinking about these things. Nerdy, perhaps. Well, whatever.

---

Sometimes I like to just spout out a stream of random sounds. I guess you could call them words. I just start babbling, and sometimes it sounds like it could be a sentance, other times it sounds like I'm trying to describe a sound that I heard. Either way, I like to do it for a few reasons. One reason is that I like to watch other peoples' expressions when I'm doing it. Usually they look confused, and much of the time they'll smile, maybe laugh.
Another reason is that it increases the likeliness that I'm saying something that has never been said before. One issue with speaking in a language that is commonly spoken, like English or French or Arabic, is that it becomes more likely that the words you speak have been said by countless people before you. Imagine how many people have said, "Hey man, how are you," compared to me saying, "Flebleh Skvarm Bnorgsnikt Chuchuch Wheeeooooootn." It's like an infinity to one ratio.

Open letter to Jon Kyl concerning Iran [Feb. 28th, 2007|12:49 pm]
[Tags|, , , , ]

Dear Senator Kyl,

I wanted to write you again to encourage openness and love towards the Iranian people and their leadership. I know from your previous response that you look at Ahmadinejad's letter as some sort of instigation. I know that your stance is also that Iran is trying to get a nuclear weapon. But I ask you, where is the unconditional love in this?

Iran has vehemently denied that their desires are to build an atomic weapon. I can see their reasoning for doing so, because if they did have a nuclear weapon, could you even imagine the regional and global response? My prediction would be that if Iran announced a nuclear weapon, Israel would probably immediately bomb them heavily, and probably with the support of the United States.

I want to reiterate that I am of Jewish heritage and love the Israeli people. I also love the Jewish people. But is it not also important to love the Iranian people and to love Muslims? Is it not equally important to love all people equally?

There is no reason for the United States or Israel to fear Iran. The demonization of the Iranian people by some members of our government and by the media makes me feel sick to my stomach. This is a country that has approached us in the name of friendship on so many occasions, and we have continually snubbed them.

Please, do what you must to encourage open dialog with Iran. Please, oppose restrictions or sanctions on Iran as a result of their nuclear program. We must be patient and watch them closely to see that they are building purely peaceful nuclear power, but we should not accuse them of doing something that they have not. We certainly should not do another pre-emptive strike for unfounded causes.

Please, Senator Kyl, consider that your opinions and your ideas about what Iran's intentions are may be wrong. I still have the letter that you sent me in response to my letter begging you to oppose war with Iraq. In this letter, you state quite bluntly how it is obvious that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction. Looking back, you were positively incorrect, and the result is this heinous war that we are in that the majority of the American people are disgusted with. We were all fooled, and you were incorrect in your rock-solid assumption that Iraq was harboring weapons of mass destruction.

So, in conclusion, please do not make these same assumptions with Iran. We must love all people, including the Iranians, including the Iraqis, including the Syrians, including all of these people who we make out to be our enemy. Let us get to know these cultures and countries better through an open discourse.

Please, do not bomb Iran or support an Israeli bombing of Iran.

Sincerely,
Ariel Gross

In the future I see the probability that we might be, the future is a probability, we might be friends with Iran. And this new administration that's coming in will be soft on war. This is the thing that those wacko Christian armageddonists fear the most because this is our last chance between now and the new administration, which is soft on war. These Christians, these armageddonists, fear more than anything else, that this is our last chance to use a nuclear bomb on those people who are perceived to be enemies of Israel: The Muslum. And so the United States as a whole is not evil, but there are people with power who would like to manipulate or manufacture consent to destroy what is perceived to be, and wrongly so, the enemies of Israel. The Muslum is not an enemy of Israel. Mohammed is not an enemy of Israel. Israel is the enemy of Israel when is says so. The Unites States is an enemy unto itself when it states such things, that it's good to follow the cult of Israel worship in America. Christians here virtually worship Israel because they believe we're in a last days, and they falsely believe that Armageddon is going to bring back Jesus, and that the Israelis were the chosen as they state they are. Not every Israeli believes this twaddle. Hitler believed he was the chosen. He taught the Israelis hatred. He taught them racism. Not an overt form of it, but the kind that causes the apartheid that we see with the Palestinian. The kind that allows the military of Israel to purchase a Dolphin class submarine and to arm it with American poly-fitted nuclear weapons to be used against Iran. This is immoral. It is unjust, unkind, and wrong in every way. I see in the future that America, with this new administration coming up, can be friends with Iran, and there is no reason that the United States should not be friends with Iran. Except for one thing. Wacko Christian armageddonists, and the fact that we currently have a psychopathic Christian mass murderer in the White House who is coupled with, married with, naturally, like husband and wife, a society of people who are sliding into sociopathology. Sociopath and psychopath, husband and wife. American people have become the people who have no feeling, no empathy, for the suffering and misery of what they call collateral damage in Iraq, and in the future, what they see, in the men, women and children, the innocents of Iran. Iran is what we have left of our genetic heritage. The old people. It's an old civilization and it is the destiny of the East. It's where we come from, folks. Imagine what this does to your psyche when you start bombing the cradle of civilization. Former secretary of state Baker, who tried to defend Saddam Hussein, who did a good job, by the way, his heart was there, he amply said it, after I had stated this, that this damages your psyche. When you bomb the cradle of civilization, you're bombing your own subconscious rendering of where we come from, why we are here, and where we must go. If you know where you're from, you're going to be lost, folks. You're not going to know where you need to go, you're not going to know where to go. As you face the abyss, as you face human extinction, the last thing you need to do right now is to validate your false belief system because of fear by destroying the evidence that counters everything that it purports to be true. I'm being disturbed once again right now by somebody, and we're going to come back to this, but this is typically what I really express in life. The spirit moves me, and someone moves to counter the spirit. This is the reason why I'm making one last attempt to save the country that I love, the country that I'm born in, the United States of America. The only hope of the world. I've always believed that. I'm not a patriot, I believe that patriots today are people who are gullible, people who have fallen for a great lie. I do not believe the American dream. I believe that the American dream is a dream of all people. The reason why America is one of the most hated countries in the world is because most people here don't know why they're hated. Worse than that, we're hypocrites. We act like sociopaths. If we're not careful, we'll become a nation of sociopaths who are guided by a psychopath into World War III, because of monsters from the id created from many, many year of believing in Armageddon. The Old Testament and the New Testament do not coincide very well. The New Testament is a lie. The Old Testament is not a lie, it's something that needs to be studied carefully. There is no such thing as Armageddon, it's simply something that happened in the past, and we are creating this out of fear. The armageddonists feel that we have three months time to finally have a resolution to the enemies of Israel by bombing what there is left of their stronghold, as they perceive it. There are no enemies of Israel. Israel is not in Jerusalem. If you're talking about the twelve tribes, you're talking about true history of where Israel is. Ask the Pope, he'll tell you it's in Constantinople. He recently broke open a sore, a rift between Muslim and Christian, permanently set in the stones that built the true Israel, which is Constantinople. We are fighting over something that is a lie. And these people who claim that they are the chosen are no different than Hitler when he claimed he was the chosen. It is a lie. We are all the chosen. And this is a form of racism, ugly and sinister, and this kind of hatred must be stopped. It is a spiritual disease. We do not need to bomb what there is left of the human genetic heritage. We destroyed that heritage in Iraq by using, unnecessarily, depleted uranium, destroying or causing great damage to the genetic structure of women in Iraq. Succeeding generations of women will also be giving birth to this genetic damage. So, when you look at this collectively in terms of morphic resonance, when you look at the totality of our history, you won't be able to get it from the majority of people who have had children in Iraq. You need the land, you need a large number of people, to have this information. If you disrupt it, if you simply dilute it, poison it, you poison the source of information that is what we are. We are information systems. Don't you want to know the truth of where you come from, even if it destroys your belief? Belief has nothing to do with truth. Faith has nothing to do with truth. It is simply a vehicle for which truth is found. Truth is the mind of God, and that God is truth. To the light of all, we find the voice. That voice is unconditional love. Where do you find unconditional love in the vice president of the United States recently, when he speaks about China being a threat to the world because of its buildup of armaments concerning the Taiwan staits, or that we must strike Iran if it doesn't give us its oil, or whatever it is they're thinking. I don't think he said that, I think he thought that. What else could he be thinking? Because the greatest threat to the national security of the United States is the fact that we might run out of oil as the world runs out of resources and we head into World War III. As these basic needs of Maslow are not being met, and clearly, the majority of people are discovering this, and they are going to be at war. Starving people go to war. Our ecosystem is failing. A lot of people are going to be starving. And the only way for the United States to survive this is to have its hands on a great deal of energy that they can use right away. The current infrastructure of the industry requires a convenient source of energy: oil.
